I would have to say that my (current) favorite inanimate object is probably my new Merrell Moab Waterproof shoes in dusty olive. They are oh-so-comfy! I feel like my feet are surrounded by marshmallows when I wear them. They also support the unique way women walk by studying the “Q-form” of a women’s hips-to-leg angle. Here’s a picture:

The Three Worlds
So I had to do a little bit of research on the Chumash Indians for my Anthropology of Food class and I came across a website that had a few traditional Chumash myths. Under a myth titled “The Three Worlds”, the story was talking about the 3 worlds and how there was one above and one below the one we currently live on. Two serpents hold our world up and when they get tired, they move and cause earthquakes. A great eagle holds the upper world and he never moves. But when he gets tired, he stretches his wings, which causes the moon phases. I thought this was really cute. I was a little surprised by the last sentence that concluded the story of The Three Worlds though.
“And the water in the springs and streams of this earth is the urine of the many frogs who live in it.”
That’s a lot of pee…

Luke and I pretty much, haha! I wonder if we look weird to other people when we go out in public… nah! Probably not… right??
This is mine (and my tattoo artist’s!) design take on a peacock feather - I wanted it a little different. I got this tattoo to symbolise the real start of my life, how the world is my oyster. My three-and-a-half year relationship ended, I’ve found that there’s something wrong with my liver and this was a way for me to remember to strive on through, no matter what. :) The tattoo took around 2 hours altogether, was my first tattoo and is obviously, on my ribs. It hurt, but of course; was totally worth it.
I like this one!!!!
